Into the Wild: Well-being through nature
Join us for an exciting training course in Bansko, Bulgaria, where you will enhance your skills in promoting mental well-being through nature. This course combines theoretical knowledge with experiential learning, providing a unique opportunity to connect with nature and fellow youth workers.
What is it about?
The aim of the training course is to strengthen youth workers’ competences in promoting mental well-being by combining theoretical knowledge about well-being and mental health with experiential outdoor learning and non-formal education methods. Participants will explore the connection between mental well-being and nature.
Training Objectives
- Increase their knowledge and understanding of mental well-being, its different dimensions, and factors.
- Raise awareness about common stigmas and stereotypes related to mental well-being.
- Experience and explore the potential of nature and outdoor environments as spaces for reflection, personal development, and well-being promotion.
- Exchange experiences and good practices with other youth workers, strengthening cooperation and peer learning around well-being-focused youth work.
Participant profile
- Aged at least 18 - no upper-age limit.
- A resident of the E+ program countries and represent a youth organization.
- Motivated to explore mental well-being in youth work.
