5 days of celebration with a purpose – 2nd Heraklion Urban Ecology Festival

For the second year the volunteer team Heraklion Eco Voice which operates in Heraklion, Crete will hold the 2nd Heraklion Urban Ecology Festival with the support of the Municipality of Heraklion, DIKEΗ and ESDAK, in the park of the Heraklion coastal road, around the fountain.

As last year, the festival will take place in June, from Wednesday 5 June, World Environment Day, until Sunday 9 June 2019. In a festive atmosphere, honouring traditions and culture, the volunteer group Heraklion Eco Voice has, once again, organised a rich programme of activities and events.

Some of these include open physical fitness classes, bicycle use, environmentally inspired art exhibitions, art workshops, eco-experiments, concerts, theatre performances and inspirational informative talks.

Our company, as an active member of the Cretan Energy Cluster, contributed significantly to the organization of the Cluster’s exhibits and supports the event with physical presence. Since April 2018, we have been actively participating in the Cretan Energy Cluster, aiming at the cooperation of companies and institutions active in the fields of energy production and energy saving, interested in working together to promote the solutions they offer, the development of new systems and the information of the public about these applications.

The aim of the festival is to promote the development of new technologies, develop new products, develop new technologies and inform the public about their application.

By developing an energy culture, we directly contribute to improving the economy and quality of life while protecting the environment.
