An Erasmus+ Youth Exchange to develop environmental awareness through nature based activities for self-development to gain team-working skills and to detox from the digital world by reconnecting with nature and people.
What is it about?
Nature for Mental Health is an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange that brings together young people to explore mental health, well-being, and personal development through nature and outdoor education.
Training Objectives
- Using nature as a tool for mental health and well-being
- Raising awareness about mental health
- Teamwork, intercultural exchange & self-development
- Outdoor experiential learning & digital detox
- Developing environmental awareness and social skills
Participant profile
- 5 young people 18–30 years old + 1 youth leader with no age limit
- Interested in mental health, nature, outdoor activities & teamwork
- Motivated to participate in a week of nature-based activities
- Priority given to young people with fewer opportunities (social, economic, cultural, geographical, educational, etc.)

Accommodation & Food
OBC Educational Center
2 dormitory-type bedrooms
Breakfast, lunch, dinner + coffee breaks
Vegetarian/vegan options available; allergies respected if declared upon applying
Costs & Funding
✈️ Travel budget Greece up to 309€
🌱 Green travel strongly encouraged (bus, train, carpooling) up to 417€
* 30€ (waived for volunteers/economic obstacles)
Reimbursement only after full participation & submission of all original documents
Accommodation, travel and food costs
Travel insurance, optional leisure activities, unjustified transport
* A small participation fee of 30€ is requested by the sending organization, covering administrative support and serving as a guarantee against last-minute cancellations.❗No participation fee is requested from participants with economic difficulties or from active volunteers of the organization
