At the Erasmus+ Training Course “Outdoor Therapy for Youth Mental Wellbeing”, organized by U.Grow in Greece, youth workers from Greece, Malta, Slovenia, Portugal, the Netherlands, Bulgaria, and France came together in a natural environment with the aim of supporting young people’s mental health through nature-based approaches.
During the programme, participants explored key topics related to youth mental wellbeing and the role of youth workers in supporting vulnerable groups. Through experiential activities, outdoor learning, and practical workshops, they discovered how nature-based and outdoor approaches can serve as tools for empowerment, connection, and supportive practice.
They also exchanged good practices from their countries and developed new skills and methods for their daily youth work, strengthening cooperation and intercultural understanding among European organizations.
