From June 2 to 9, 2025, the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange “Play Green, Act Green” brought together 49 young people from across Europe to the city of Nitra, Slovakia.
The project focused on the 10th European Youth Goal – Sustainable Green Europe – and engaged participants in exploring how digital tools and gamification can empower greener communities.
One of the highlights was a full-day Hackathon, where participants worked in international teams to “hack” sustainability challenges by using digital tools to create educational games promoting green practices
The output of the project is a toolkit that shares some digital tools that might be suitable for use in gamification. The toolkit also contains all the games that were created during this project that might be shared with youthworkers, teachers and youngsters

Here you can check the toolkit.

Throughout the week, we shared cultures, ideas, and creative energy through interactive workshops, intercultural evenings, and collaborative learning — all guided by the principles of non-formal education.
Thank you to everyone who made this exchange so meaningful and impactful. Let’s keep acting green and thinking sustainably!
