iSea* and Green Tank** organised a seminar on 4 November at 11:00am in the multimedia room of the Natural History Museum of Crete, as part of the project “Know-Participate-Protect the Environment“, which is being implemented under the Active citizens fund programme: “Citizen participation in environmental policy making – New developments in addressing

biodiversity loss”. Ioli Christopoulou, co-founder and policy director of Green Tank, presented the paper.

The “Know-Participate-Protect the Environment” project seeks to equip young people – with a focus on students and voluntary groups – with the right skills to actively participate in the debate on policy-making related to the environment and climate change. The project is founded on three thematic pillars: climate crisis, biodiversity loss and plastic pollution.

The event was supported by the Natural History Museum of Crete and GreenTeam University of Crete.
