What happens when young people from 5 countries spend 9 days together? A lot more than you’d expect.
In Markovci, Slovenia, we took part in an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange focused on digital skills, AI, and entrepreneurship.
We learned how to turn ideas into actual business concepts, coming up with company names, designing logos, building pitch decks, creating landing pages, and thinking about how everything could actually work in real life. We also talked a lot about how AI is becoming part of everyday life and how important digital skills are for the future. But the best part wasn’t just the workshops.
It was stepping a bit out of our comfort zones, speaking in front of others, getting more confident, and realizing how easy it is to connect with people you’ve just met, even if they come from completely different backgrounds.
There were so many good moments:
- Cultural nights with food, music, and traditions
- Doing a flashmob in a high school
- Hanging out and playing with kids in a primary school
- Random football and volleyball games
- A trip to another city
and just a lot of laughs, music, and late-night talks.
What we expected to be a nice trip turned into something way more meaningful. New skills, new friendships, and memories we’ll definitely keep for a long time 🤍
